Natuzzi unveils Dandy – a new furniture collection by celebrated designer Marcel Wanders
This year Natuzzi celebrates 60 years of design by going back to its roots and to Puglia, where Pasquale Natuzzi began his long journey into the world of furniture in 1959. Today, led by Creative Director Pasquale Junior Natuzzi, the brand launches a new concept of living inspired by its homeland.

With Dandy, Natuzzi extends its collaboration with Studio Marcel Wanders initiated in 2018 with the Agronomist and Oceanographer collections, emulating the company’s new vision. For Salone del Mobile this year, the Dutch designer has imagined a new character that embodies a ‘modern lifestyle’ imbued with travels and urban living.
Marcel Wanders’ glocal approach combines traditional and urban atmospheres, craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. “For this collection, we considered the richness of the design elements and patterns found within the Italian culture. The new Dandy collection reflects a deep exposition of the local customs and lifestyles. We proudly teamed-up with Natuzzi in what is a noble investment for its local economy and culture” explains Marcel Wanders.
The Skyline sofa draws inspiration from the asymmetric lines of urban landscapes. Upholstered in matelassé (quilted) leather, this modular sofa features a practical "relax & motion" function electrically operated.
Stylish and minimal at once, the Dove chaise-longue features a backrest that allows two different seating positions. Dandy also includes the Shield stools and Arch bookcase, dedicated to relaxation and reading, and can be matched with the Lave armchair, an addition to the Oceanographer collection.
Other key pieces of the collection are Dami, a lamp inspired by the shape of glass vases (‘damigiane’) traditionally used in Puglia for the fermentation of wine as well as the Skyline coffee tables that feature ceramic or lava stone tops locally produced.
