Nude launches new crystalline collections at Maison & Objet in Paris (19-23 January 2018)

Nude will exhibit at Paris’s Maison & Objet, showcasing both existing collections and never-before-seen products. Ranging from expertly-crafted decorative objects and statement tableware to softly-shaped lighting, Nude’s vast portfolio of glassware is designed by a pool of leading international talents and continuously honoured with industry accolades including the reputable Red Dot, IF Award and German Design Awards.

Amsterdam-based Italian design duo Studio Formafantasma will present “Pigmento” a collection comprising of an assortment of serving plates and containers, all of which emphasise the craft of mouth-blown glass with flashes of coloured pigment.

Following the success of Pentagon Design’s previous collaborations with Nude, including their Red Dot Award-winning “Smooth Lamp”, the new “Blade” collection will also be presented. Playing on glass's innate material contradictions, the "Blade" vases juxtapose smoothness and sharpness, in a single object. Inspired by the art world's explorations into sheer overlaid colour, "Blade" gives a nod, to the work of artist Olafur Eliasson, whose work relies on the overlap of transparent hues.
