Roche Bobois collaborates with Philippe Maidenberg to create ‘Dreamer’s Lounge’ for Holiday House Lo

Roche Bobois, the purveyor of French ‘Art de Vivre’, has collaborated with internationally-acclaimed architect, Philippe Maidenberg, to create a ‘Dreamer’s Lounge’ for the first-ever Holiday House London. Holiday House, a celebrated American designer showhouse benefiting breast cancer research, will make its UK debut on 9th November 2017. The exhibition, which celebrates its 10-year anniversary, will bring together 25 leading designers to transform the different rooms of a dedicated house in St John’s Wood.

Located in the attic, ‘Dreamer’s Lounge’ has been imagined as a tribute to Supertramp’s legendary frontman, Roger Hodgson. The main vision behind the room was to create a sanctuary where Hodgson would come to relax, write and compose music and most importantly dream. Each piece in the room contributes to the overall concept of this dreamer’s paradise – taking centre stage in this place of inspiration is Roche Bobois’ iconic Mah Jong sofa, which provides the ideal cocoon of comfort and creativity.

To complete the design Hodgson’s lyrics have been painted across the walls and floor in a beautiful cloud-like shape. Maidenberg also incorporated leading technology trends such as virtual reality, 3D surfaces, sculptural lighting and an interactive musical experience. Holiday House London will open the doors of two vast houses currently for sale, located in St. John’s Wood, North West London. It will be open 7 days a week, from November 9th - December 10th.

Holiday House London is an interior design exhibition which raises crucial funds for the prevention and cure of breast cancer.
