“Simple is Beautiful” Nude at HOME Autour Du Monde Bensimon during Paris Design Week
From 6th September - to coincide with Paris Design Week - award-winning, global design brand Nude will showcase its portfolio of crystalline collections at Parisian concept store, HOME Autour du Monde Bensimon. New pieces by three-esteemed international designers, Studio Formafantasma, Defne Kozand Tomas Kral will also be on display, adding to Nude’s contemporary eating, drinking and living collections.
Ranging from expertly-crafted decorative objects and statement tableware to softly-shaped lighting, Nude’s vast portfolio of glassware is designed by a pool of leading international talents and continuously honoured with industry accolades including the reputable Red Dot and IF Awards.
Amsterdam-based Italian design duo Studio Formafantasma’s “Pigmento” collection comprises of an assortment of serving plates and containers, all of which emphasise the craft of mouth-blown glass with flashes of coloured pigment. Italian-trained Defne Koz has created “Layers”; a statement coloured glass vase made up of three overlapped shapes in different colours. Following the success of Tomas Kral’s previous collaborations with Nude, including his award-winning “Blow Lamp”, “Beak” and “Lady” carafe and tumbler sets, Kral reveals a new playful and exotic jug and tumbler set entitled “Parrot”. Also on display will be Nude’s award-winning “Malt” whisky set by Mikko Laakkonen, tree-like jewellery box, “Blossom”, and minimalist pendant light “Mono”, designed by Pentagon Design and crafted from hand-blown glass.
