TOM DIXON Multiplex: new products, Ikea collab. and much more!!!

Located in a huge 840 seater plush Cinema and a historic Galleria on via Manzoni, MULTIPLEX is a 2-storey exhibition that takes visitors on a fully immersive experience themed around Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

New collections include: CUT a faceted light with a space-age mirror finish when off and an endless repeated reflection when switched on and TUBE, an op art cylinder with laser cut piercings

After years of experiments in metallic, TOM DIXON have gone a bit soft with their new SUPER TEXTURE collection, their first foray into weaving, sewing and embellishing , a look at extreme textures of velvets, boucles and knits. The new range includes cushions, throws and blankets in six different textures (Soft, Deco, Boucle, Fleck, Check, Line)

HACKING IKEA & FILM FESTIVAL AT MULTIPLEX

In exclusive pre-release at MULTIPLEX, DELAKTIG Bed/Sofa their collaboration with IKEA.

Everyone individual or company - is invited to create hacks, add-ons and modifications from pillows and covers to lamps and side tables to make the Bed/Sofa more personal. Throughout the design process, Tom Dixon and IKEA have also been working with 75 students from the Royal College of Art in London and Parsons School of Design in New York and Tokyo to invent new ways to modify the bed.

Throughout the week, IKEA will also run a Film Festival in the huge Cinema of MULTIPLEX: exclusive movies about creativity and radical design will be shown several times a day

But MULTIPLEX will also be an oasis of comfort and entertainment for the exhausted design people with drinks by Johnnie Walker whisky, The Hack Bar: A cafe created by Arabeschi di Latte with Bibendum Food Experience, The Corn Kiosk: Hack of the classic popcorn kiosk, turning popcorn into real dishes, Complimentary Gelato by Carpigiani, A Rubber Shop curated by Pirelli and Moto Guzzi showcasing for the first time a Tom Dixon x Moto Guzzi bike and limited-edition tyres designed by Tom.
