Spring/Summer 2018 will see Wrangler tap into the archives to deliver a most modern feel which continues to be inspired by the 1970’s retro era.
The evolution of the brand is in full swing, presenting a bolder, more expressive, and richer collection. Heritage is key – logo tees, fits and washes, festival outfits and retro sports are revived for a contemporary interpretation of denim and casualwear.
Strong & provocative ways of expressing the Wrangler logo are seen through a variety of iconic pieces, recalling the sports varsity trend. Graphically the brand is fresher and younger, oversized graphics mixed with relevant shapes. Tees, shirts, hoodies, track pants, bomber jackets will complete the new urbanites driving new thinking in culture and attitude.
For men’s, Wrangler drives the millennial conquest by introducing the Strangler fit. Placing itself below the waist, it sits snugly on the legs all the way to the ankle. In both denim collections, new premium fibres with the cotton and elastane blend will add character for a ‘soft luxe denim’ experience. Flashback to the 80’s, Wrangler played a pioneering role by delivering new trends in washes, including the very popular Snow Wash: Bleaching denim with deep twill lines achieves a highlight on the peak and darker colour in the depth of the twill, giving it an overall faded look. 6 new modern colours are added this season with sharp contrasts.
Spring/Summer 2018 will also see the expansion of Wranglers festival line - several ready-to-wear outfits, ripped bottoms and jackets are designed with embellishment stitches and stronger patches. Embroidery will rise from the archives for a distinctive inspiration on mythical Woodstock.
