ONE - ONE PLANET, ONE FUTURE

ONE - PLANET ONE FUTURE Opens in Milan at the Italian headquarters of Anne de Carbuccia foundation: Time Shrine Foundation. The newly updated space in Lambrate will host a photographic exhibition of Anne de Carbuccia’s One – One Planet One Future, dedicated to issues of preserving the planet, with a strong message for us all.

From March 31, during Miart and Milan Design Week, an exhibition opens to the public for the first time at the Italian headquarters of Time Shrine Foundation, which seeks to raise awareness of the important issues about respect for our planet. Anne’s exhibition One – One Planet One Future has toured the world for three years, showcasing her engaging photographs that portray typical vanitas iconography of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, using the skull and the hourglass as classic symbols representing human vanity and fleeting time. The new exhibition spaces at the Foundation are created from the outbuildings of a 1920s factory, converted in line with the highest standards of sustainability. They will play host to the large photographic works of Anne, which are divided into four themes: ENDANGERED SPECIES, WATER, WAR and TRASH. Each theme will have its own dedicated space. The works relating to the theme of Water will be exhibited in the pool area, whilst those linked to Endangered Species will be shown in the green house. Meanwhile, the War photographs and Trash themes will have a dedicated large space that will include the reconstruction of one of the shrines created by Anne composed of organic elements. These three areas are linked by the central courtyard, which also gives access to the concluding part of the exhibition, where a documentary tells the behind the scenes narrative to the artist’s shipments.

March 31 – April 12, Milano from 10am to 7.30pm Via Conte Rosso 8 – 20134 Milano Fuori Salone Ventura – Lambrate
